Plants of Southeastern Arizona Bulletins

The Pima NRCD has been collaborating with other districts to create bulletins describing the plants of southeastern Arizona. So far six bulletins have been produced describing the major shrubs, poisonous plants, crop weeds, winter forbs, summer forbs, grasses, and trees in this part of the state. The bulletins are designed to be easy to read and carry, with color photos and scientific and common names of each plant. The description of each plant, its habitat and distribution and other general information is written in easy-to-read generally layman’s language that even the most novice plant enthusiast can appreciate. The bulletins are widely distributed across the state and are enjoyed and used by everyone from ranchers, teachers and agency personnel to tourists and sightseers. A seventh bulletin, Cactus of Southeastern Arizona, is now available.  A ninth bulletin on invasive species is currently being printed.  These books can be ordered by calling 520-292-2999 x 111.
