Pima Center for Conservation Education

Mission:

PCCE promotes an ethic of environmental awareness and balanced resource management in the educational community of Pima County, Arizona and surrounding areas.

PCCE staff have participated in several public events, including the Coyote Trails Elementary School Science Extravaganza, Earth Day Fair, and Do that Daze. PCCE also assisted the statewide Envirothon committee and recruited volunteers for the Earth Day Fair.

PCCE is associated with the Arizona State Land Department and the Pima Natural Resource Conservation District. The primary funding source for PCCE is Arizona's Environmental License Plate Fund. Other funds come from grants, educational foundations, and donations. PCCE is a non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.
